Hallo Scottie,
It is always the same: you need a scapegoat.
For me this story shows how dishonest this church is yet with its own state.
On the one hand, it preaches love and forgiveness.
On the other hand, it maintains its own prisons and its own army.
What is the difference to the Inquisition and witch burning?

Hello Nikki. While it is not for me to tell others their religion, I have always thought that the Vatican has gone as far away from the intent, the example set in the book they base their religion on! I can’t see the Jesus of the Bible acting as they do. They are politicians and businessmen, not humble servants of man for God…In my opinion. Hugs
