  1. I can’t believe this bullshit went on this long. Yet, Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld weren’t put on trail for war crimes. Unreal.

    • Yes I agree, and sad very sad. Our people have become so use to being turned from what is important we don’t even notice it any more. Keep posting my friend, you help more to see than you know. Hugs

    • That’s the truth! They’re all damn war criminals. I remember watching a big gala event on TV where W was the guest of honor. He made fun of himself about the WMDs. “Oh, I think I saw some over there. Oh, there’s some WMDs in the palm trees. Ha ha!”

I just wanted to puke seeing him be so stupidly flippant about HIS destruction of people groups and their land, murder, disabilities, PTSD and TBI.

Bastard coated Bastard with Bastard filling is too nice of a description for any one of those three goons!

      • Don’t worry, sweetheart I didn’t see much of it myself until it was too late. I remember when all that election nonsense went on in 2000. I lived in Pensacola at the time. My church was fervently praying like freaks for W to win during that chad mess. Even as a Christian then I thought “so much for leaving things up to the will of God.”

      • Exactly! A desk job stateside is not the same as being deployed to Vietnam, Iraq or Afghanistan. And sometimes the same men and women are deployed several times. I swear, if I believed in the devil those three would be the unholy trinity.

  2. here’s my resigned take on the whole thing.
    https://recoveringknowitall.wordpress.com/2016/07/05/fbi-says/

that being said, i don’t think either Trump or Hillary, the RNC or the DNC are qualified or fit for the job of President of the United States. I probable sound like a wack job, but i think our present form of government, meaning relationship between those represented (ruled) and those who represent (Rule) and between the Federal Government and the States is FAR from the original intention of the Founders and Constitution they left us with.
i think the system is rigged on both sides and we’ve been pitted against eachother to keep us from seeing and recognizing the real enemy of the People… our own Government.

    • But truly how could it not be???? It was designed in a time that was as rife of political extremism as is today, without the ability of today to promote it. Our founding fathers were not Gods ! They were men, trying their best to make a system that in which they figured they could prosper. We have gone from the few states that they had to worry about, make concessions too, to a world where influence is without the borders of one’s state. It would be small of us to think this is the last of our changes as well as to think that their efforts are the end to the entire ideal. Hugs and loves.

      • And it was over 200 years ago! How can we still be blindly following this system (and dare not change the beloved “founding fathers'” laws) designed for a world 240 years ago?

      • I have always felt the constitution was a “living breathing” document! I do not buy that our founders thought they had all the answers or even would have locked themselves into this deal if they couldn’t have changed it. These were the wealthy , educated men of their times. No they were activists. They were ego driven in many ways. They thrived by change, wanted it, wanted it in their way. They would have wanted to change it when it no longer worked, or if they thought of something better. I agree with you totally. Time to keep what works, and change that which does not. And sadly like our founders we may have to drag many of our country men screaming and yelling with us. Best wishes. Hugs

    • My husband always says “we never did away with kings and queens, we just changed titles”. Personally, he and I believe that presidents and other politicians are selected, not elected. Anyone else remember 2000? With every election I struggle more and more, not only with who to vote for, but does it even matter?

    • Hmmm…now does that mean the Chinese have it spot on? Just select a leader and we the people just fall in line. It wouldn’t seem so differently from what we supposedly have here today. With every election, 50% of the population will feel that it didn’t go their way. Or do we keep up with the election charade so we can convince ourselves that “we” are better than they who do not have the vote.

      • I am forced to say NO. NO. It is not like if we dislike the leaders we tried to choose we can just go elsewhere, and also we have only four years to suffer each one should we be able to get the backing to remove them. No it is sad the deck is stacked against us, but yes we must continue to play the game, not willing to give up our holdings and winnings just on the bad draw? No I think we must fight if we are to have any chance of winning our place. Hugs

    • yes and not…. They have determined which ones were making me so sick, and they got me a tolerance to some others.. but my sugar is now uncontrolled… totally fubared no matter what we try. Plus they still have to adjust my pain meds, and for some reason no one can figure I want to stay up all night and sleep all day. 🙂 thanks charity for asking. I am one of the lucky ones, I have healthcare, so they get to experiment on me and try all the best new drugs on me. Blah. 🙂 Hugs

      • I’m sorry. There’s a pain reliever that I rarely take. I take it when I absolutely can’t handle the pain just to take the edge off so that I can get a decent amount of sleep. It’s only to be taken twice a day. After taking it for just one day, I have the worst stomach pain and can’t stray too far from the bathroom. I think that’s why I usually just take an aleive or nothing at all.

      • I am sorry the pain reliever does that to you. Is there nothing else they can try? With my condition we had a great regimen in effect. I take a extended release morphines, instant relief morphine’s, I take prescription strength Ibuprofen, and two muscle relaxers. That last is the problem. I was on soma’s. powerful, but well known and they were doing well for me. Now the state legislature says my pain doctors can’t prescribe it. My other doctors can, just not the ones I need to be focused on my pain caused by my musculoskeletal problem. So then a second doctor, my sugar doctor got it into her head to add and change things and it sent me into a deadly spin… could have killed me. We all have our skills and we should recognize when we leave our own area of knowledge and intrude on others. While I was sick and not overly worried, I guess it came rather too close several times for Ron’s peace of mind. Be well, the world needs you. Needs you very much. Hugs

      • Unfortunately, as great as science and medicine is we have to depend on greedy manufacturers to obtain prescriptions. I think of those poor people with AIDS and Hepatitis who have pay hundreds of dollars for one pill. Whenever I think of them and those going through painful and expensive treatments for cancer, I just think about how overwhelmed they must be. Going through that kind of discomfort and financial loss it’s no wonder many of them file bankruptcy and lose their homes. I guess that’s part of the reason I suffered through so much physically and emotionally and did nothing about it. I just didn’t think I had any big issues. Little did I realize how many years of neglect can make matters worse.

Hey, I have some good news. Hubs found a neurologist. He’s scheduled to see her next month. Oh, and I LOVE my therapist. We’re still building a trusting relationship and laying the groundwork for EMDR therapy. I’m nervous because it can be quite traumatic if not done properly. She seems to be confident that this will work well for me.

I hope it all pans out for you, Scottie. It sounds like you stay in good company for your overall health. You’re a good guy. Don’t you ever forget it.

      • Thank you Charity and the same for you. I have my husband to see to my needs and to fight my battles. it is working out. I will never be what I once was in body, but my mind still works and my heart still has strength to care. I ache for those you mention, who pay 700 or 1200 for a 1 dollar pill. all for profit. Think of that guy who bought the company simply to jack up the price, and who doesn’t understand the things he did wrong. Where I or you if we had the money to buy the company would do all we could to get the medication to those who need it. So times I am so discouraged by this world. And other times my heart soars at the goodwill of humans for each other. Many hugs
