Evangelist Franklin Graham: Ignore Trump’s Taxes! We Have to Stop Transgender Soldiers’ Rights!

Filed under: Bigotry, Greed, Health, News, Political, Questions, Religion — Scottie @ 12:16

This angers me, because it shows clearly this is not about principle, it is not even about their religion, nor their god, but it is about bigotry!   It is all about their dislike and refusal to even try to understand sexual and gender issues.   They use the laws of leviticus to support their disgust for something different than they are or do, while at the same time saying all the other laws included in that same book no longer apply.  Just the one that supports their bigotry.   Then they get upset when called on it and claim they are not bigots nor homophobic but it is a matter of faith.   IF that is so then follow all the laws or don’t use any of them.   If the laws don’t apply for any other subject, they don’t apply to the one that supports your hate.  Refusal to even try to understand, such as the case here with transgender needs and feelings, is not honoring your God.  It is not being faithful.   It is not even being a “good” christian.   It is a closed minded expression of hate, dislike, bigotry, and anger.   You don’t like it, so it can not be allowed.   You are so busy defending your limited views on gender and sexuality you can’t even see how you trample your own message from your deity.   He claims to have created everyone and thing.  The bible claims he knows us in the womb.  Remember the message about how you treat the least of these?   Well by your actions on these matters you are showing that you are willing to disregard all that because the idea of not being the gender you were born with, or two people of the same sex enjoying their bodies together is something you fear so greatly.   Where does that fear come from.   Well the truth is part of it is the fact if you don’t do it, no one should do it type of mindset.  The other is the money grubbers in the church who are afraid they will lose out on gaining one less child if they can not force everyone to conceive for them.   Those children they hope will grow up and give their money generously to the church.   Then those same grown up children can be forced to procreate more children to keep the cycle going.   I won’t even mention what others want those children for, it just makes me to angry.   I know this won’t change the minds of many that are far to set in delusion, but I hope some will reflect on what I written.   Hugs

This is faith-based bigotry in a nutshell.

Excerpt below:

Graham should just admit this isn’t about Trump. He’ll always support the thrice-married, always-bragging, insult-spewing con artist with an “R” next to his name because that’s what Jesus would do. But caring for people who tell you they’re suffering because they don’t look on the outside the way they feel on the inside? Even if you don’t understand the issue, the government giving them the opportunity to have that surgery seems like such a small price to pay to ease their pain, especially given the sacrifice they’re making.

But this is how Graham operates. If you don’t believe in his God, or live up to his faith-based ideals, he wants nothing to do with you.

  1. Well said Scottie. I couldn’t agree more.

    • Thank you. I have been encouraged to add my own views and feelings to the posts I make. I am not that great at it yet but once in awhile I do well. I will keep practicing and the encouragement from people like you helps a lot. Again thank you. Hugs

  2. “Evangelist Franklin Graham” – is sufficient explanation for his pathetic views.

    • Very much so. He seems so much more militant than his father was, at least to me. Sad. Be well. Hugs

  3. You’ve articulated exactly the mindset of the fundamentalist, Scottie. Toxic.

    • Thank you. I have always had the thoughts in my head. I am getting much better with practice at writing them out such as in the post. I am even enjoying it, saying how I feel and what I think. I guess it took a while to sink in that I could do it. Be well. Hugs
