Scotties Toy Box

I am back and the batteries are charging.

I am back.  I had surgery on Friday and the surgery was one of the best I every slept through.  The recovery and time in the hospital could kill a person.    They did try their best too.  One nurse said to me that with what I had endured she would not be anywhere as nice as I was being about it.   I replied to her I knew it was not her fault, she did not cause it and did her best to fix what she could, and what would lashing out at her accomplish, what good would trying to make her miserable do for me?   My humor has returned.  I had no sleep for the two days, and have had to try to sleep in the recliner here at home.  No bed for me for a while yet.  So last night I got a few hours sleep, woke up, took the mandatory get up painfully and pee requirement.   Got back into the recliner and then drifted off to have the adorables get into a fight as to which one would sleep in the chair with me.  Then drift off asleep for the next hour and half to walk up and repeat all of the above.   I am learning how to function on small bursts of sleep.  I will soon be making the rounds to all your grand blogs.  I feel like I have been in a cave and missed the news of everyone.   I can’t wait to talk with you all again.   Hugs

  1. It sounds uncomfortable, Scottie. We had my aunt say with us for six weeks post first a back operation and then a hip replacement. The initial recover phase is tough but after a few weeks it becomes so much easier. Hopefully the operation will really help you and it will be very worthwhile.
