  1. This is pretty disgusting my friend. How the hell do they justify this? Our state has been good about providing insurance to the poor. Is that in jeopardy too here in WA state?

    • I do not know. I read recently that we are 5th in rankings for the most deaths of children 5 and under. The wealthiest nation, the most powerful nation as we tell our self, can not take care of its children or provide healthcare for its adults. So sickening. Be well. Hugs

      • Well there’s your theological lesson today. There is a devil. He’s in the Whitehouse.

  2. Me: “We need universal healthcare.”

GOP: “Poor children should get jobs and pay for their own healthcare.”

Me: “Getting a job doesn’t guarantee healthcare. I’ve never had a job that provided healthcare.”

GOP: “Employers shouldn’t be required to provide healthcare.”

Me: “Then they should pay us more so we can afford healthcare.”

GOP: “We want to LOWER the minimum wage or get rid of it altogether.”

Me: “Then how the hell are these poor children supposed to get healthcare?”

    GOP: “Freedom!”

    • You have it correct. They will do anything to get lower wages and lower taxes for their donors, the big donors that is. Yet they want to keep the big donors from paying anything to help the poorer less income classes. Other countries with out our wealth and power manage to do it quite well. I keep asking, “Why can’t we”? Hugs
