  2. The rich guy squeezes the lifeblood from the middle class and the poor. The lower you are in this *highly* class-caste system the more you are likely to get yanked into the prison industrial economy. The higher you are in the unacknowledged caste system the greater your ability to exploit anyone below your caste and the greater you are admired for your serial crimes.

  3. The solution here is for the poor guy to share the ladder with the middle class gal, to get above the fray in the rope. Then they can, together, climb up. When they get to wherever the elevator goes, they can use what’s left of the rope to hang that rich bastard!

    How’s that for a plan?

    • I’m thinking that the rich guy has security systems that intercept the poor guy and the middle-class gal. The pair get tossed into separate jail cells, where they mysteriously hang themselves on the first night, probably with extensions of that very rope. No foul play is determined — a press release rules it a double suicide.
