So much for christian morals

Evangelical Support for Trump Has Gone Up (!) Since Stormy Daniels Scandal Began.

That’s the party of “family values” for you. They are, and always have been, hypocrites. “Values” only matter when it’s the other party guilty of violating them. When it’s their own people, they look the other way.

How ingrained is that myth in the Christian mindset?

Get this: Since the Stormy Daniels scandal began, Trump’s support among evangelicals has gone up.

The most recent Pew polls suggest that President Donald Trump hasn’t just held his support amongst white evangelicals but actually has grown his support since the Stormy Daniels story took hold.

With his white evangelical support having dropped to 61 percent in December, Trump now enjoys 78 percent support, just a shade beneath the support he won from white evangelicals on Election Day

  1. These people are sickening.

    • Yup, I agree. I just can not understand how they can claim the moral high ground while supporting tRump and the republicans. How can they make their claims of such superiority they do not deserve. Hugs

      • They just don’t care. It’s all about winning and smashing their “opponents”–people like us, I suppose. Just win at all costs and gloat over the bleeding body of your perceived enemy, even though doing so will eventually bring about your own demise. I’m SO sick of these fucking idiots.

      • I don’t think they have a religious bone in their body other than the religion fueled by hatred and bigotry. They need to pray there isn’t a hell.

  3. We all need to move to western Europe and let the evangelicals, fundamentalists, racists, homophobes, redneck uneducated, rich white money lovers and power hungry despicable people have the US. This country is falling into the pits and it’s going to get worse. What on earth happened here and where did it go wrong. If there were to be a Jesus (which I don’t believe), he would be appalled. God?….not so sure, as he ( again I don’t believe in a god) created this mess knowing full well how it would end up. Today I feel disgusted with the whole thing.

    • I refuse to let these creeps win without giving it my best shot to stop them and create the progressive country we were working on becoming. Hugs

    • If we moved to Europe, then we’d be the New bad guy. Would be a battle in it somewhere. Good vs evil non Christians

      • Plus we give the bad guys the place we left. I would rather take it from them and make where we are a better place than they have. Hugs

  4. I used to be very conservative. I used to vote based on how much of a conservative I felt a candidate was. Then it finally hit me. Other people’s business is just that. It’s OTHER PEOPLE’S business. It is not my own. We can agree with something or maybe we won’t. Not everyone will agree with what everyone else does. You know what? That’s okay. It’s okay that we’re different. Differences make the world a wonderful place. We need to allow people to do what they feel is best for them instead of telling them what is best for them. Amazing what a change of scenery (leaving religion) can do for someone’s worldview.

  6. I daresay they believe she’s another one just pulled from obscurity to make false claims and bring their President down. After all, they didn’t believe the women who claimed they’d been sexually assaulted by him and I think his numbers went up then too. Maybe if they witness his depravity they’ll believe their eyes and bring their moral outrage to bear, Or then again……..

    • At what point does the ponderance of evidence start to get to them. If they are up to their chest in it, will they see it then? Best wishes. Hugs

    • Also David I heard it said that his male supporters all want to be with a porn star so they admire him for it. Hugs

  7. Christian morals are another smoke screen. All through the churches they preach one thing, but what we observe is totally different. This has been a lot of my theme lately. Love the neighbor? Only if they conform. Religion brings peace? Most murders in history and the most pious divisiveness on earth. Religion makes us happy? Antidepressants are highest use in the most religious areas. And in the end, they want jesus to come kill us off. “Vengeance is mine” saith the lord. Always look and see whats happening. It’s the opposite of what they say it is. Love the sinner, hate the sin? Bullshit. There actions say different.
