  1. There is always hope, but this generation is headed in the wrong direction and the next generations will surely suffer for it. There are too many excuses and too little action these days towards the needed remedy. Thank-you!

  2. It is not the guns – its Trump and the murderous NRA. togetherr with the greedy Republicans.

    • Yes those you named support the gun culture. It is the guns and those who choose guns over lives. These stories are not about knife killings, not about people being clubbed, it is about people being shot. Hugs

  3. It always especially rankles me when they try to blame violent video games and anime. If depictions of violence in pop culture caused violence in real life, Japan would be the most violent country in the world, instead of one of the most crime-free.

The now-living generations have plenty of people able and willing to work on the country’s problems. It’s just a matter of getting the current crew of crooks, creeps, and incompetents out of office.

    • Let hope we can do that and make a difference. Hugs

  4. That first cartoon is especially hard hitting given how US children are already the ones paying for the sins of their elected representatives. How can parents /not/ vote to evict these callous, self-centred bastards? That’s what I can’t understand. I can’t understand how those same parents continue to take their kids to school. How can you pack their lunchbox and kiss them goodbye knowing they might never come home? I’d go insane with fear. 😦

  5. Sigh. We darn sure have made a mess of it, haven’t we, my friend? Not you, not me, but humanity in general. There is such an arrogance among the human race, as if everything on this planet was put here solely for our happiness and convenience. And we seem to believe that we have a right to decide who has value and who does not. I have high hopes for the next generation, the Emma Gonzales’ and the David Hogg’s of the world. For our own generation? I have little hope. But, we keep trying, we keep fighting the good fight, for what is the alternative?
    Hugs, my friend.

    • Well said Jill. You also are doing your part as I think I am doing mine. We have to find ways to cut through the false narratives and get the facts to the people. Then get the people to see and accept them. Hugs
