  1. Scotty, I just love that dude. The world is ready for a half hour prime time comedy show staring our redneck friend. Hits the spot every time.

    • Yes I agree. I need his way of cutting through the bull. I hope he gets the special you speak of. Tonight I am under a cloud of worry about my nation where people excuse the taking of children away from parents and then losing them, and deport the parents and have no idea what will happen to the children. This is not the country I was in two branches of the military to protect. I do not understand. I worked beside every race and even different nationalities and never seen this hate and bigotry. Hugs

      • Me too. Army, E5-11B.

Sometimes we seem to be blind to the world we occupy because the creep is so slow. Donโ€™t beat yourself up. The past is, well, the past. Good riddance to it. Today you can change to world with things as simple as an act of kindness or reenlist.

        • Thank you , I agree, yet I can not stop trying to make a difference. Even though I am old now I still have my voice.and my convictions. I was also in the army. I was a 26Y a satellite repairman / operator assigned to an intelligence unit in West Berlin back in the 1980’s. Before that I helped set up Sat units in Stuttgart, worked in landstuhl, and did a bit of special operations work. Before the Army I was in the Navy and while I loved it and it was a real eye opener and mind blowing experience for a small town kid, I had motion sickness I still fight to this day. So after almost a year of training for a totally at sea position, I had to be discharged after my ship left dock and I went unconscious and had to be flown to Balboa Naval hospital where they said I couldn’t go to sea again. But as I was Operations Specialist and male I couldn’t be land based, so I got to go home with an honorable discharge and a ton of money for a country boy. The next week I walked into the Army recruiter office and never looked back. Hugs

        • By the way if no one has thanked you yet , let me. When I was in West berlin surrounded by that wall, we called it POW camp Berlin. We did an exercise with the local infantry barracks. Gods we were so happy, we got all done up in our gear, and we painted our faces( we used skin cream in the paint to make it easy to remove ) , and we played soldier for a day. We had those laser tag vests and add ons to our weapons. That night we were crushed to find out we wouldn’t be playing the next day. Seems while we could take apart electronics and do that stuff, we were not very good soldiers and during the day in our fenced in compound we kept shooting our own defenders. You have to admit we were clueless. They were pissed as they took this stuff really serious, and we thought we were helping, but our defensive positions targeted the ones tasked with defending us. They were not impressed with us. ๐Ÿ™‚ Hugs
