    • I loved the German healthcare system. They had a system based where most things were cost free, and depended on your income. IF you made over a certain amount then you paid a little. I remember working with a guy who got a cold / flu and he simply called the doctor’s office and they prescribed the needed meds, he did not even have to go in. I could have stayed in German and got to nursing school for free if I then did a few years working in the country. The problem I had was I simply couldn’t learn to speak German. There were others benefits of taxing those who can afford to be taxed and make life better for everyone. There are countries where life is much better for the people, the incomes are higher, the services are better. Our country is suffering because of the mentality to take as much as you can, screw everyone else, no government controls, and complete corporate control with no restraint. We are creating a society of the haves, and the rest of the population is serfs for the haves. A two class system of privilege and wealth for some, ( a higher class ) and little to nothing for the lower lesser class. Hugs

  2. Greed and ignorance is the problem here. People voting against their own best interests because of it. And trump can fire ‘um up about other things to make sure they continue to vote against their own behalf. It’s ironic that many of them are more concerned with whether someone gets a choice in who they can marry and what a woman can chose to do with their own body, in which neither one affects their life at all, than voting for people who support reasonable low cost healthcare policies, the security of Medicare and social security and the protection of the very environment they and their heirs will have to live in.

    • Hello Mary. I always have wondered at people who vote against their own interests. Hugs
