National Archives Rejects Schumer’s Request For Brett Kavanugh’s Records: GOP Committee Chair Has To Ask

Filed under: Criminal, Harm, News, Political, Questions — Scottie @ 13:08

They are doing tRump’s bidding and the republicans love this.   This is not a democracy any more.  It is a single party rule by thugs just like china.   This needs to be shouted everywhere and at all TV appearances.   Basically the democrats have been shut out of the government.   Hugs

The National Archives, in a letter to Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), said it will only respond to a request for documents under the Presidential Records Act (PRA) if they come from a committee chairman, who are all Republicans.

The National Archives and Records “remains unable to respond to PRA special access requests from ranking minority members,” Archivist David Ferriero wrote.

  1. Unreal. Absolutely unreal.

    • I find it really scary that all departments now are refusing to honor requests from democrats. The republicans really do seem to want a one party rule by authoritative dictator. How do we fight this crap? Hugs

  2. This is shameful. Both sides have an entitlement to check on nominees, not just the ones currently with a majority.

    • Yes, and it reduces our government to only one party rule. So instead of all the people being represented in congress, now only the republicans are, while those not republican get nothing. It is part of a dangerous game republicans started playing during the Obama years so they could block everything and anything Obama tried to do for the country. Hugs
