‘The most bizarre thing I’ve ever been a part of’: Trump panel found no voter fraud, ex-member says
The Washington Post

“After reading this, I see that it wasn’t just a matter of investigating President Trump’s claims that three to five million people voted illegally, but the goal of the commission seems to have been to validate those claims,” Matthew Dunlap told The Washington Post. Read the full story

  1. Next thing, someone will tell me that water is wet. Okay, this wasn’t surprising at all. They should be more concerned about whatever collusion was going on and also cross-check when it comes to elections being rigged.

    • Yes but the thing to see here was the attempt by tRump and his hand picked people to pretend there was voter fraud so they could enact voter restriction laws. That was the goal, more restrictive voting laws making it harder for minorities and college youth to vote. Hugs

      • Definitely, and I won’t argue against that. This fake voter fraud claim was certainly a smokescreen. Even before the 2016 election, there were several districts (mainly in the South) that would get gerrymandered like nobody’s business. I know in North Carolina, they specifically targeted Black neighborhoods and shut down DMVs near said areas just so NC GOP members could gain an advantage in multiple districts. Some states even tried voter ID laws to discourage minorities and college students (mainly those out of state) from casting their ballot. Cross-check just made everything worse and that’s been around long before 2016.

        • Scary isn’t it. How could anyone in a democracy want to limit voters from voting? That is what a democracy is. Yet the republicans now seem not to believe or support democracy. The want an authoritative one rule Image result for
Kleptocracy government. I wonder if we will get our democracy back. Hugs

          • Very much so. It’s most likely because of a fear that those targeted voter groups could bring a change that threatens them. Yeah, I do wonder when we’ll have a pure democracy.
