Textbooks for Homeschooling Christians Frequently Whitewash U.S. History

  1. Omitting real history and christianizing every move as manifest destiny and gods will? What’s wrong with that?

    • 😂🤣😁 I feel sorry for the kids. I have known some people who were church schooled this way and they are painfully ignorant of even the basics of history and science while completely sure false things were true. One teen use to come to our home after school and he would tell us how the country was founded as a christian nation, how the founders claimed to use the bible as their inspiration for the constitution, tell us about how christians were the ones blocking slavery, and how our laws were taken from the bible. I about lost it when he told us his teacher had gave a lesson on the fact that individual states were created as a places for the christian faithful. We know that all failed and got corrupted due to democrats, liberals, and nonchristians. I listen to YouTube and a young Baptist preacher Matt Powell ( 22 ) is so horrible uneducated he publicly makes wild claims that are clearly false, yet he believes them and goes on these shows to stick up for them. He is in college now and has no interest in learning the truth because he thinks it is all lies as his religious teachers have told him differently than the truth. I worry about the children subjected to this, it sets them so far behind, and it hurts the rest of us when they reject known facts for the fake history and science they have been taught. Hugs

  2. Apparently they did similar things re: history in South Africa when the country was under Apartheid.

    • If they can indoctrinate the kids early and deep enough they think they have a chance the kids will grow into adults who think like they do. Hugs

  3. Whoa…that’s terrible. Being a Christian myself, I also find myself oftentimes annoyed and saddened by history books that do that. I’m very sorry that this has happened!

    • We all need to be vocal and to protest and if possible stop the placing falsehoods and incorrect information in the text books. It doesn’t help any child get ahead in life to teach them fake history or sciences. The youth of today are the future. I want the future to be as bright as possible and kids need a good education to accomplish that. Thanks for the comment, Be well. Hugs
