  1. Proof positive that the GOP will stay on code even when they know one of their own does wrong. Democrats certainly have their own pressing issues, but even they don’t circle the wagons this much and this severely. Just ask Anthony Weiner and Al Franken.

    • Yes. People often ask why democrats are so quick to act against their own members when they have done wrong doing, while the republicans praise their member misdeeds. I tell people it is because it is the correct thing to do . We either have ethics and principles or we are no better than the ones we claim are wrong. Hugs

      • Exactly, Scottie! Democrats have done bad things like Republicans, but at least most of them have the decency to call out their own whenever they do something wrong. Sure, sometimes it involves smearing those who aren’t corporate (see: Bernie Sanders’s presidential run or Nina Turner), but that’s a problem with the political machine.

It’s astonishing how Republicans stick with their own no matter what and will bend over backwards to defend their party even over America sometimes. They’re the same people who preach about ethics, morals, and virtues, but never own up to it once it’s crunch time.

        • Yes, Roy Moore was a perfect example of republicans putting party over country or “morals”. Hugs
