Don’t want the people to know do they?

  1. If the FBI report supports Kavanaugh then I think the report should be issued on full for the public to decide if they feel the job was done without setting boundaries. If the report supports that Kavanaugh should not be appointed then I feel the people will know a thorough job has been done. The GOP members should not be able to complain at the latter decision unless their Senators complain about the quality of the report on which they helped set the boundaries.

    • They don’t want the voters to know the truth until they get him confirmed. Then they wont care. But the republicans want this so badly they don’t care if he did those things, they want him on the court to push their agenda. If the public knows that he did those things, and they vote to confirm him anyway, they are afraid the public will vote them out of office. Or if the public knows soon enough they will pressure the senators of their state to vote no. SO you can see why they will hide the report. Form all we have heard it is clear he lied about his drinking. We know he drank heavy, and he denied that. So we know he is lying about one important detail, it seems clear he is lying about others. • Yes, and they are entitled pricks also. Why should the little people know anything, why should the workers have a say. Hugs

  3. HAH! I wish ol’ Mitch the best of luck on that one! No way in heck is it going to be kept secret … nor should it be. We have every right to know the findings, for this ‘man’ will be making life & death decisions that will affect this nation for decades.
    Hugs!

    • I agree. It should be mandatory that it is released. After all we are the employers that are hiring this joker. Hugs

      • They seem to forget that, don’t they? They think that the big corporations and the NRA are their employers. Let’s fire the whole lot of ’em and start over! Hugs!

  4. Idiots. It will leak. Everything leaks (especially once a bunch of Senators get hold of it). And if they do manage to keep some things secret, the public will wonder what was so terrible that it had to be kept hidden. They’re creating the worst of both worlds for themselves. Again and again, from Nixon on, cover-ups have always evolved into a scandal bigger than the original problem.

They are saying that it’s necessary. to protect sources who spoke to the FBI, and that’s a legitimate issue. But essential facts could be released with names edited out. Leakers might not be so careful.

    • OH yes, well said, this is the same people who are demanding that the FISA court information that the FBI has on the Russian investigation be released redacted. But they finally convinced tRump no to to do it, and I think there was some threats involved as tRump never backs down. Hugs
