I am a 56 year old gay man who has been very lucky in life. Life is an adventure and I live it that way. I am in a long term married relationship with a wonderful man I adore. We are starting our 30th year together.
As you know, I’m not a cat fan, but these are pretty funny!

I love the first one. This cat drinks whiskey not milk. Bet he beats up dogs for fun. Hugs

Cats are not always wonderful. For example, they are responsible for the greatest mammal extinction on Earth in Australia, killing tens of millions of native creatures every night.

Is there some way we can genetically modify them to prey on Republicans?

Similarly, is there some way we can put the final nail into the coffin of the “Pig Boss”, as depicted in my cartoon in the parlance of political satire at https://soundeagle.wordpress.com/2017/10/18/the-quotation-fallacy/best-quotation-to-win-an-exclusive-loyal-contract-to-make-pig-boss-company-great-again/

Or at least the final nail into the coffer, if not the coffin, of the “Pig Boss”.

Yes cats will prey on other animals. That is not the fault of the cats. It is the fault of humans who fail to properly take care of their charges. In the areas we have lived in and here where we live now, there are cats that freely roam and these are house cats for the most part. However we keep ours inside. When we were in west palm beach we had to stop feeding the birds with some feeders as a portion of the seeds would fall to the ground and then local cats would attack and kill the birds. It was not the cats fault, but the humans who were too lazy to clean a cat box or property keep their cats inside the home. Hugs

The issue is far more complex than that. There are feral animals, and not just cats. Feral animals are not native and they can easily outcompete many other species and/or hunt them to extinction.

IN WPB there were a lot of feral cats. They practiced a program called catch / neuter / release. It was helping. Also volunteers would feed the cats, all the cats. Ron and I did that also. We had a ton of cats come to our backyard, we fed them and tried to help them. The feral ones took a lot patience to get near to help them with problems. Some were injured and needed to be taken to clinics in the programs. Here in NFM in our little development we have cats that have been abandoned, so local neighbors feed them. I think there are only two or three. It is not right to let cats out they get hurt and cause problems. As for feral animals of other kinds I will trust your information on them as I do not know about the problem. Thanks. Hugs

Moreover, as feral animals, cats tend to be the most aggressive and supreme hunters. They also have a tendency to not just hunt to satisfy their hunger, but also to hunt excessively, killing or injuring other animal species wantonly.

Yes, our cats are inside cats also. No worry about fleas or worms, no vet bills from fights. Butter for all. But it drives our house cats nuts when they see an outside cat, they get all upset. Hugs

It’s not drinking alone if the cat’s home.
