HA! the car one … Years ago I shared a house with a bunch of Buddhists but one of the housemates wasn’t Buddhist, in fact he was a real jerk … wanted to be a talk radio host like Rush Limbaugh (this was 1990, before any of that was big) … but he was just a used car salesman. One day, he came home & was talking about these born-again Xtians who came on the lot to look at cars … they really wanted this one car but the lady wasn’t sure … “I don’t know if God wants us to have this car,” she said. Bob P. didn’t miss a beat. “But God brought you here today to look at THIS CAR! So obviously he wants you to take a drive in it & sign the papers!” He made the sale. I couldn’t stand Bob P. but I do love that story.

    • Hello SAQ. Religion is vague enough to be twisted into anything the churches and preachers want it to be. The believers are gullible enough and uninformed enough to believe what they are told. It is a bad situation isn’t it? Hugs
