  1. Sorry, the only trickle-down anyone’s getting with this bunch is the kind the Russian hookers gave Trump in that Moscow hotel room.

    • So true! yet for forty years republicans have used the same promise to get the base to let them give huge tax breaks / rebates to the wealthy. The promise has never materialize yet the people keep buying it. Hugs

      • It’s weird, this concept that the best way to help ordinary people is not to give them money directly but give it to rich people in the hope that some resulting benefit will eventually flow to the ordinary people. It’s as if hunters didn’t aim their guns at the animal they were hunting, but instead fired them up into the sky in hopes of hitting a large bird that would fall on the animal and kill it. Normally people realize that the direct approach is usually the most effective.

        • I agree. I also do not understand why the republicans think to get the wealthy to work harder is to give them more money, but to get the poor to do better they want to take money away. It makes no sense? Hugs

          • What does make sense — because it continues to happen over and over and over again — “The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.”

            • Yes, so true. I love the idea of a marginal rate tax, but if Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz runs as an independent he will be handing the election to tRump. Third party candidates are spoilers as they can not win. Hugs

          • Only strong labor unions help against exploitation of the working people. In the USA there are just 7% of the workers organized in labour unions any more; in germany the percentage is 18% organized; in Canada the number of organized workers ist still 27% an in Iceland the number of organized is 89%. So any Repuke Governments fought the labour unions, and the succes of the Repukes fighting the labor unions you now do feel.
Not even Democrats really fought for strong labour unions.
Ah, and look out for seniors, who are no longer able to to look for healthy temps. in their homes.
