TENNESSEE: Four Times Married Alleged Adulterer Files Bill To Ban Same-Sex Couples From Adoption Services
Hensley has been divorced four times. In 2015 his most recent ex-wife took out an order of protection against him after she claimed he deliberately hit her twice with his car.
There’s also this charming tidbit via Wikipedia: “For several years, Hensley attempted to pass a bill allowing college counselors to refuse to serve LGBT students who are considering suicide. This bill was eventually signed into law in 2016.”
Juicy un-Christian fuckery details (his cousin!) are at the second link above. Hensley was also the sponsor of Tennessee’s infamous “Don’t Say Gay” bill and authored a bill which would have declared children conceived via artificial insemination to be illegitimate.
Do you actually breed the sicko’s in that particular part of the world Scottie? Some of them are nothing less than evil. here’s nothing godly about their proclomations.
Hugs

Hello David. I like the way you think. Yes it is getting worse here with these type people. It is like a snowball rolling down a snow covered hill, it gathers more and more to itself and gets bigger and more dangerous. If we can not stop this intrusion of Evangelical Christianity into our government we will become a theocracy with a Christian sharia laws. I was reading today of one of our largest appeals courts that over the last two years has been stacked with Republican Evangelical Christian judges where the majority just issued a ruling that was based entirely on their religious view and is at odds with the other appellate courts who ruled the other way. The thing raising fear is one of the Judges wrote in the ruling it was based entirely on his religious republican views. The reason he did this is to show these people are not hiding their intent. They are proud of it. David this is scary times in my country. My Husband and I may need to apply for refuge status in another country, but my husband is 64 this year and I am disabled. Not the sort of folk most countries want to admit. Hugs

Hi Scottie;
You know, if that idiot was saying what he did on line in some blog or such, he would be dismissed as a troll spouting bs just to see how far he can go before he gets called on it, then giggle at himself and laugh at how many people he got to buy into his line. Maybe that’s the problem: anyone with common sense hears someone like this a dismisses him as a troll, but others go “yeah, sounds right” and next thing you know the ludicrous becomes law.
hugs;

Hello Brother, the sad part is that troll is a person in the legislature who can make laws that tell the rest of us how to live. Hugs

I heard once something to the effect of “if we let gay people get married, it will cheapen the sanctity of Brittany Spears’ 55 hour long marriage.”
Lol!

Hello Spartan Atheist. Yes I use to use that example. Then there is world god preacher Kim Davis with all her convoluted marriage history. It is like the priest who rages against gay people while raping a little boy. Hugs
