  1. Ask yourself, what kind of mind demands to be worshipped for doing what came naturally and why anyone feel compelled to be subservient to a benevolent benefactor? The whole notion is obscured on its face. Given the source material has questionable provenance, is self contradictory and has many factual errors, advocates spousal abuse, murder and slavery you would think the followers would be seen as demented gouls. Just a thought.

    • Hello Nation, great points. I agree. Just posted on a 14 year old child with an illness he has had all his life. What good god would do that? A man stole his medications he needs. What good god would allow that? Hugs

  2. That’s what it’s all about, Scottie. It’s all about not wanting to forget. No wanting to loose the memories of the good times. They don’t want to die. A bit of magic thinking and a soul is born that never forgets. Now that is special. GROG

    • Hello Grog. I have known people who are terrified of death. Not just the dying, but the whole what comes after. I do not understand that. I would hate to go as I have seen some people go, it was agonizing, but after your dead doesn’t bother me at all. You simply are not. That is the reality as best we can tell. I think this puts it best : “I do not fear death. I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it.” which has been attributed to Mark twain but seems to not have come from him. • The delusion of an afterlife is what fuels religion, most notably and dangerously the monotheistic faiths. Thanks for the Hugs. GROG
