  1. Welcome to the Plutocracy of America where all except those with wealth and power are naught but disposable tools. Sigh. Hugs!

    • Hello Jill. Well said. I wonder how we get back to a more even playing field where the extremes in both ends are gone. Back in the 1980’s I had a smart friend who seen low job availability coming. He foreseen the automation in the job market. He told me way back then that people would work only a few hours a day or on one or two days a week. They would simply job share. Some people simply wouldn’t have jobs. He said we needed a way to have a living income without a job and that people needed to be taught to be productive in their free time not destructive. He said people needed to learn to be creative even if they had no large audience. Some would build just to create, some would write stories even if no one read them, some would sing even if no one listened to them. Many other things. I like that some blog … Well it lets us meet great online friends. Hugs

      • Y’know, Scottie … I hate to be a pessimist, for until the past 2-3 years, I never was. But in truth, I think it will take a catastrophic event to bring the people of this nation together again. I wish I saw it differently, but there is so much distance between liberal & conservative, democrat & republican, that I don’t think any amount of talking or compromise will work. But on a cheerier note, I fully agree with you … the best thing about writing a blog is the community of friends who feel more like family! And that, of course, includes you, my friend! Hugs!!!
