One reason to get rid of the death penalty and to be careful who we put in prisons

  1. I remember the big scandal in Wenatchee, and when the foster girls got away from the cop they recanted. Those people still stayed in jail as WA state apparently needed a retrial before they could change anything. IIRC, some had already died in prison and another two died while waiting for the retrial. Even exoneration has hurdles.

    • Hello MDavis. So true. Scalia once said

Mere factual innocence is no reason not to carry out a death sentence properly reached.

        • Hello MDavis. It seems to be true that conservatives and evangelicals love punishment and have no care for truth. Hugs
