Most presidents don’t pardon murderers. Trump did, and may again.
Where the military sees possible war crimes, President Donald Trump sees injustice.

  1. I definitely remember a big kerfuffle over Clinton pardoning someone whose picture on a ski slope kept showing up. Is this even showing up at all in regular media? You know, that so called liberal media that keeps telling Dems that they should play nicer with the biggest bully on the block?

Yep, looks like most of the usual suspects are talking about Trump past pardons and considering more pardons. (Fox, the non-news entry, headlines “families awaiting decision.” Yecch)

    • Hello MDavis. Yes I think you are talking about Marc Rich. He was a wealthy financier who was pardoned basically as Clinton was headed out the door. It was a scandal. However that is no where near this situation. Here is a President interfering with the process before and during the trials. Here the president is pardoning violent murderers and war criminals. This sends two messages. One the US legal system doesn’t have a problem with US personnel killing / torturing unarmed innocent civilians of other countries simply because they are of a different race or religion. Also that white people in the US have rights above those non-white POC. Second that the US intends to maintain a lawless position to what our people do in other countries. This may drive any allies we still have away. We are about to become a nation that condones terrorist war crimes committed by our people. I made a better post on this today that better explains the situation. Hugs

      • That’s the one. It was a scandal, but I was never clear on why it was such a big deal. The people talking on our liberal media (sic) about what a big scandal were the same ones talking about:
Arkansas state troopers sneaking women in to dally with the governor (it was some other governor, turns out)
Vince Foster’s suicide – called it a cover up.
Whitewater – the Clintons were among the several investors in Whitewater, and they ran after that one until they found something, anything.
These are just a few examples.
But basically the Clintons lost money because the Whitewater guy was a con. Other people getting a con like this were treated like victims. So when the media came up with the Marc Rich story they had already had their credibility destroyed by the pandering. They were all tarred by Fox, the gang leader.

        • Hello MDavis. Yes you are correct. The current situation when the Republicans claim this is a political hit job, we need to remind them of the Bill Clinton situation. where it started out as an investigation into his land deals before he got elected, then morphed after two years of unrestricted investigation in to an investigation into a blow job in the white house by some one not his wife.

First I doubt that was the first or only such blow job! Second can you imagine if the investigation today was into tRump’s deal? Well that is what he is afraid of and fighting tooth and nail against.

You make a great point. Now how do we get the cult of tRump and the mainstream media that seems to adore him to acknowledged the point. Hugs
