  1. Overtime made the list? I’m surprised the Trump admin is actually proposing something that would legislate OT pay for people making more than the rules call for now. Don’t tell Trump or he’ll find a way to stop it.

    • Hello MDavis. The tRump admin is well aware and they love it as this is a decrease in the OT level rule. Under President Obama the level was to be $47,476 and tRump wants it lowered to $35,308. Meaning people between that range will not get OT as they should. Also the rules reclassify which workers can even qualify for OT pay under the law. Many people who use to get OT will lose out now. • That sounds more like him, although raising the current level at all still sounds like advisers or behind the scenes campaigners sneaking this through while they distract him with jingly objects. I didn’t read thoroughly, just the thumbnail at the link. That wasn’t clear on status of Obama-proposed rule, whether it was already dead or, as it seems, if this was meant to replace it. And nothing in the thumbnail of other provisions put in to stiff the working class.
        hugs
