  1. That’s because in their desperation to win the next election, and maintain their powers, they know they have to cheat, there’s just no way they can win an honest, unencumbered election. So they’re almost openly asking for outside help in the form of ballot-rigging, hacking, and manipulating electronic voting machines, along with gerrymandering and loading the federal courts with conservative jurists who are on their side, so that if legal challenges DO occur, they’re quickly stifled or shut down.
It’s so damn difficult to fight back against this treasonous behavior, I can see why some people just give up on politics, and voting in particular.

    • Hello Dennis. Well said. I was listening to the news this morning where the story of how in Wisconsin the state is so badly gerrymandered that even though the Democrats won by about 8 points the state House is 63 Republican seats and only 35 Democratic seats. After the Republicans lost the governor’s office in the lame duck session the republicans jammed through new laws taking away most of the power from the governor and transferred it to the legislature. Republicans have clearly shown they do not care about democracy nor about the will of the people. They want power, they crave it. As you said they can not win it honestly so they are going to steal it. That is the party of family values that claims the moral high ground. Hugs
