  1. There used to be an over-the-counter inhaler for asthma, but it was taken off the market. Word is it was “too harsh”. Harsher then dying of asthma because you can’t afford the medication?

    • Hello MDavis. Thanks for the information. I do not understand how the people affected by not being able to get medications or medical care can support Republicans, yet they do. Hugs

    • My other-half has had asthma since he was a kid. It’s a very scary disease. Fortunately, after serving in the Vietnam War, he’s able to get medication through the VA.

If even 1% of the politicians and drug company CEOs had to suffer some of the ailments they claim to “cure/control,” something tells me they MIGHT be a bit more understanding. But then again …

      • Hello Nan. Great point. I am reminded of that asshole shit stain Martin Shkreli who bought the rights to a medication that took less than a dollar to make, jacked the price to $700 and when insurance companies paid that amount jacked it again to $1200. For a needed medication that has been around for decades, that there was no research costs, and only cost less than a couple dollars to make with increased costs. I have a couple allergies that are life threatening, and so I am suppose to carry an EpiPen when we go out to eat and have them here at home. So I was keeping a set in the car and a set here at home. They are only good for about 6 months if not used. I stopped getting mine for a few years as the price that in 2007 was $100 jumped to nearly $700 today. There is no change in the drug nor in the injector. Just more profit for the drug company. Lucky for me now I have insurance and the cost to me is affordable. I do not understand how people can accept that a life saving easy to use drug is denied to people because they can not afford the cost. It says something in our country where you have a right that can not be denied to a killing weapon, but you do not have the right to life saving healthcare and medications. I am so tired of the way people in the US look at things. Other countries can give universal healthcare and it is great. Yet here in the US we let our own die to worship the gods of capitalist higher profit. Best wishes to your hubby. Hugs
