There’s nothing pragmatic or safe about a Biden nomination…

Hello everyone.  This is a well written article with a well reasoned take on what selecting Biden as the Democratic nominee will mean / do for the general election.    Hugs

  1. Completely agree re Biden. Sanders is my pick, but America will NEVER elect Sanders. In my heart of hearts I hope Democrats don’t consider Biden a safe bet to trounce Trump. Sigh.

    • Hello Notes To Ponder. The fact is the majority of the country thinks unregulated capitalism has ruined their lives and they want some of the things other countries give to their people. They are tired of life being only a struggle. In my own area for decades the talk was how the Canadians are buying the winter homes because they had the money the people in the US doesn’t. The fact that Bernie’s policies are not only popular but mostly the mainly accepted position of all the candidates, it shows the country has a desire for a Democratic populous. I think / hope the nominee will be Elizabeth Warren. I really think if we are to have a democracy again we need her to win. I would also support Bernie. I doubt the ones claiming they want to be center like 1980 /1990’s could win because they wont take us to the future but back to what we know already failed the people. Hugs

      • Elizabeth Warren captivates me – articulate, stoically unapologetic yet infinitely sensible. Sanders or Warren, either one would serve America well. Hugs

  2. Biden’s a loser. I hate to say it, but I think it’ll be trump in 2020. & then the impeachment. & all kinds of chaos.

    • Hello silverapplequeen. I think it is too early to call. To many variables still. But if we go with a regressive that wants the status quo they had a decade a go or with someone looking back ward we will lose. The people want to move forward, they want legislatures that will listen to them, to work for the people not the wealthy, and acknowledge the problems we really have and the obstruction that is the cult of tRump called the Republican party. Hugs
