Pastor Flips Out Over “Gross” Gender-Neutral Dolls Because His Girls Want Barbie

My little girls (I have three) do not want gross, gender ill-defined, Bruce Jenner look-alike dolls… All of my daughters, as feminine as God made them, prefer anorexic, spider-legged, big-bust, eye-hazard Barbies to mutant-Barbies with a dress and a five o’clock shadow.

Whether or not the company genuinely cares or it just sees a new demographic to market to is besides the point. Children who never felt “seen” could be validated by this new line of dolls and that’s reason enough to applaud the attempt.

That validation is precisely what Hall doesn’t want. His three girls don’t speak for all children. He certainly doesn’t speak for all parents. But the market will ultimately decide if these dolls have a long shelf life.

  1. When will Christians learn they are NOT the only people in the world and that THEIR beliefs are not held by everyone? Never mind. I already know the answer.

    • Hello Nan. I was reading today of a Christian who said that just having to see or hear positive LGBTQ stuff especially rainbow flags was denying their right to practice their religion. That is not true. It is simply denying them the right of forcing everyone else to live by their religion. They can still pray, they can still feel & say what they think , they can gather with their friends to celebrate their religion, they can practice their rituals, they can show their signs and wear their crosses, and so can everyone else who doesn’t share their religion such as LGBTQ communities. The LGBTQ have the same rights to not be forced to live by a Christian’s church doctrines. Hugs

      • Rainbow flags deny them the right to practice their religion??? Wow. I’ve heard of some crazy, unrealistic reasoning, but that one takes the cake!

        • Hello Nan. It is the extension of the freedom of religions theme they have been pushing. It started out that their creativity was being used to support something that was against their religion such as wedding cakes. Now it has gotten to simply seeing rainbow flags and pride parades. Starbucks not having religious coffee cups, and stores having happy holidays banners instead of Christmas. Soon teaching evolution will be against the freedom of religion laws. Hugs
