  1. It’s amazing how much Puritan influence is in most christian religions in America. It’s insane.

    • Hello Rawgod. Yes, yes, yes. Most people miss how much of the US has a warped Puritan influence. In New England where I grew up it was drilled into us that we needed to work and suffer, even if we were not religious. What a weird unpleasant way to live and it sets everyone up for failure. Hugs

  2. Thank you very much for this informative and insightful article! I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and hearing your thoughts! I have recently published an article on my blog about the nature of religious freedom and whether religious people should be entitled to speak freely in all situations. If you have time it would be great if you could read my article as I would be interested to hear your thoughts! Thanks 🙂

    • Hello thelevinelowdown. I did go and read your post. I left a comment. I will repeat one part of it here for my viewers who may not go read your post. Religious freedom laws are not about a person’s thoughts, beliefs, or speech instead they are about a personas actions in the public square. You can think or believe what you wish but you can not discriminate or refused to do your job that you get paid to do simple because you disagree or dislike something. When wondering if it is OK to deny service to a LGBTQ person(s) change the person to black or Jewish and ask your self is it still OK for a religious person to deny them service? If you can not discriminate based on another person’s race or religion, you can not do it based on your religious doctrines. Hugs
