  1. Hi Scottie;
    I don’t think a lot of people really understand this. I am in my 50’s now. If I want to change jobs, health care is a huge part of the decision. How long will I be without insurance? When I go to my new job, what type of insurance will I have? Can I afford the COBRA insurance in between?

    If I were to have a serious – or even a fairly minor medical issue, I could completely wipe out my savings and put myself in debt for years. That is a fear and a bondage to unhappiness in a job that absolutely stifles any freedom or creativity I may hope to have to, say, open my own business or take some time to travel and see some of the world.

    The congressmen who have great health care don’t understand this. The rich don’t understand this. The old people who are getting social security, medicare, etc., likely don’t really understand this. There is more to risk than failure in changing jobs. You could quite literally lose everything.

    • Well said Randy, very well said! Of course those in our government that are in the upper incomes do not understand what you are saying. We have become a country of classes and those in our government are in the upper class. That means what is happening to the lower classes simply do not effect them. This is the very problem effecting India right now, the class system is so entrenched they are on the brink of complete chaos. Hugs and love.
