  1. Hoarding isn’t the problem. When you have SO MUCH money, you can’t spend it all. Yes, it would help if they would at least spread it around better than they do — but look at this site to see how “difficult” it would be to spend a billion dollars. https://www.buzzfeed.com/connorrdunlap/can-you-actually-spend-a-billion-dollars

    • Hello Nan. Thank you for the link. I also sent a link explaining the difference of spending a million dollars at a $1000 a day compared with spending a billion dollars at $1000 a day. The difference was a million you could get rid of in about 4 years or so with no replenishing, the billion would take almost 2,500 years a the same rate with no replenishment. Hugs

      • My other-half and I were talking about how much you would need to spend per day to deplete a $billion. The amount you would have to spend each and every day is mind-boggling. And even if you’re ABLE to spend it, the unspent money is still earning interest. Talk about an endless supply!

        • Hello Nan. I was shocked when I googled it. That is why taxing billionaires and upper level millionaires doesn’t hurt them. It is a myth spread to scare the lower incomes to never interfere with the great over lords. Hugs

          • I think we almost have to give some credit to Bloomberg for using his own money to run for President. I mean, it’s better than what the rest of the billionaires do … let it sit and earn more … and more … and more … and …

I know there are other ramifications to consider, but nevertheless, I can’t help but admire his actions. Better than begging money from supporters like so many other RICH candidates do and have done.

            • Hello Nan. Maybe but he could have taken that same 50+ million and helped Democrats all over the country fight against Republicans, specifically in red states. Hugs

              • Maybe he will yet … if he doesn’t get anywhere in the presidential race. But I do realize that a BIG “maybe.” 😋

                • Hello Nan. He did announce he will donate 10 million to help vulnerable Democrats. Hugs
