“I’m Michael McCain, CEO of Maple Leaf Foods, and these are personal reflections. I am very angry, and time isn’t making me less angry,” he tweeted.

“A narcissist in Washington tears world accomplishments apart; destabilizes region. US now unwelcomed everywhere in the area including Iraq; tensions escalated to feverish pitch. Taking out despicable military leader terrorist? There are a hundred like him, standing next in line,” he continued.

“The collateral damage of this irresponsible, dangerous, ill-conceived behavior? 63 Canadians needlessly lost their lives in the crossfire, including the family of one of my MLF colleagues (his wife + 11 year old son)!” McCain tweeted.

  1. The world is seeing it like it is.I’m livid too for all the same reasons. If Trump hadn’t started this thing with a killing no-one would have been jumpy with defensive weapons and all those Canadian would have got home.safely. Trump should be shot for tryinng to start a war without the agreement of Congress. How ma\n laws is he allowed ro break before someone cries enough.

    • Hello David. Well said sir, well said. I agree.. I can not answer your question because it seems the Republican party wants the authoritarian rule of one party under their control rather than our democracy or our constitution. fear where this is going. I hope England will take us in as refuges? Hugs

        • Hello David. That is grand. When people like me and Ron have to flee this country like those in late 1930’s did it will be nice to have a place to go to. I am saddened to know that when a boat load of Jewish people came to the US searching for safety in that time the US turned them away. Most of them died. Hugs
