More like he wants her “taken out”.    Hugs

House Gets Damning Trump/Ukraine Tape [AUDIO]

The Associated Press reports:

The recording, which was first reported by ABC News, appears to contradict the president’s statements that he did not know Parnas, a key figure in the investigation. It came to light as Democrats continue to press for witnesses and other evidence to be considered during the Senate impeachment trial.

CNN reports:

“Get rid of her!” a voice appearing to belong to Trump says on the recording, according to ABC News, which on Friday first reported its existence. “Get her out tomorrow. I don’t care. Get her out tomorrow. Take her out. OK? Do it.”

This sounds more like a mob boss demanding a person be “wacked” or taken out.  Hugs

Scottie, having been a supervisor and manager, what many people do not realize is the vetting process and time spent when someone has to be let go. It is not and should not be easy. The majority of companies have performance improvement plans and give people time to amend their deficiencies in meeting goals or expectations. They tend not to take action based on the words of two people who are not part of the employment managerial process. Outside input might be an influence, but the decisions should come from those who know the person best.

Trump had a long time diplomat fired on hearsay from two biased sources. Marie Yovanovitch was appointed by Ronald Reagan, not Barack Obama, and has served well and with honor for a long time. When you have to fire someone, you want to make sure you get it right. Trump does not have the patience or empathy to fire people the right way. Even though he had a pseudo reality TV show where he said “you’re fired” he rarely utters those words and has other do it for him or he may not even tell them.

Having seen Yovanovitch and heard others testimony advocating for her, I would trust her judgment far more than I would her ultimate boss. And, as for Pompeo, he cursed at a very reputable NPR host for having the temerity to ask him a question about not defending Yovanovitch. Mike and Donald, people are watching you. They see how you treat people. You have not shown yourself well, but it is par for the course.

Hello Keith. Thank you for a well reasoned comment. I agree with all you wrote. The only one point I would add is the Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch was standing in the way of US corporations getting their hands on the Ukrainian gas wealth. In a land where greed is not checked and corporate power is to be unlimited like the United States, this was not acceptable. We have the evidence in records where Rick Perry was trying to force new board members who would vote to let the US companies to take over their countries natural gas system. This is US corruption at the maximum. Yet the tRump was worried about corruption in Ukraine? Not a chance. Hugs

Scottie, in this age of tribalism, acknowledging that a woman of integrity is standing up against a corrupt president just can’t get inside that Trump tribe bubble. Keith
