New Hampshire primary: More Republicans who voted in primary feel greater allegiance to Trump than party

Filed under: Fascism, News, Political, Questions, Reason — Scottie @ 06:41

Support for the president among New Hampshire Republican primary voters runs deep. When they were asked whether they feel more allegiance to the Republican Party or to Donald Trump, a majority (55%) picked Trump. Even among those who said they feel more allegiance to the Republican Party, most of them — more than 7 in 10 — voted for Mr. Trump.

The president did get somewhat less support among Republican primary voters who said they didn’t support him for the nomination in 2016, but most (62%) of that group cast their vote for him as well.

Much more information at the link above.   Remember this is what the Democrats are up against in this election, a driven cult who support tRump over anything else.   They are and will be dangerous and impossible to reach, we must simply out vote them overwhelmingly.    Hugs

  1. Regrettably, that “allegiance” is spurred on and reinforced by Faux News.

Earlier I read some quotes by one of their esteemed “personalities” and wanted to scream at how the individual twisted the facts to make them fit the Republican/Trump perspective. And I’m not being biased. The true and actual FACTS are in plain view in published documents!

    • Hello Nan. I agree. That is why I try so hard to respond clearly , informatively , and with out emotion to Dylan and those really reaching out with a different opinion. Most of them have been fed a one side only story of misinformation from authoritarian sources that they trust. They simply do not know the truth. Simply seeing it without a reasoning behind it is something hard for them to accept because of the authoritarian claims they got the misinformation from. For example if State Propaganda TV is where they get their information from they will take Tucker Carlson’s word over a “liberal Democrat” unless they have or can establish a relationship with the person they are talking too. Granted some are too set in their ways, some too unwilling to listen to anything other than the kool aid, but there are some who can be reached I think. I hope. Going forward we have to do something about the willful disinformation in this country. Social media will have to be held to standards of truth in advertising. Hugs
