The Party needs to follow the high ground towards Sanders on this issue.

Sanders has the guts. The Party needs to follow the high ground towards Sanders on this issue.

There is no need to give billions to corporations who have heartless CEOs making health care decisions.

  1. Scottie, I like Bernie, but I must confess, you are a bigger fan than I am. Yet, if he wins, he has my vote. Bernie is a decent person who cares about people. That sentence is the antithesis of the incumbent president. Keith

    • Hello Keith. Full disclosure I support Warren in the primary. However like you I really believe in fairness. During the 2016 election I heard the accusations of bias against Bernie and that the DNC was working against him. Other than the Donna Brazile incident I dismissed it. I was wrong. This time the corporate media and the DNC are not even trying to hide it, they are flat out trying to sabotage Bernie’s campaign and to rig the election against him. That is not the democracy I support. In 2016 I told the Bernie people they were discounting the majority of the voters who voted for Hillary. Now I see a deliberate attempt by the DNC to sideline the majority of Democratic voters as they work to stop Bernie.

Keith I equate this as voter suppression. It is the denying of a fair vote. It is not counting a valid vote. I think this shows clearly that the Democratic party has really changed since the 1980’s and become a mockery of what it use to stand for and use to promote. I think if the party doesn’t stop this they are hurting our chances of winning the general. These attacks will be used against Bernie if he wins by the Republicans. Also the party demanded everyone agree to support the nominee no matter who in the general , but it seems they meant anyone but Bernie. If Bernie goes into the convention with a plurality of the votes, and the DNC using superdelegates takes away his position, they are going to lose the general. No question. Half the people who voted in the primary will not vote for the Democratic nominee in the general if the party picks the candidate they want over the one the people want. We seen how that works in the 2016 election. Hugs

  2. Scottie, Dems need to make this process fair. If Bernie does not win, then it needs to be based on votes not unfairness. It is funny, back in the spring of 2016, when Hillary had her server mess, my thought was the Dems may need to go with Bernie. I was hoping he would win California to make the case. In fairness to Hillary, she is better at doing the job than asking for the job.

Dems need to galvanize behind whatever candidafe wins. Keith
