Trump Worse Than Obama on Stocks, Jobs, Income Growth

Filed under: Economics, History, News, Political, Questions, Reason — Scottie @ 07:52

  1. Watched this (good CC) and am glad I did. He makes some great points. One comment I really liked was when he pointed out that Trump/Republicans are “setting the narrative” related to income, jobs, and the stock market — and people (even outside of his supporters) eat it up. Yet it’s all based on misleading facts and statistics!

But the average citizen never checks out this information. They just take whatever comes out of the mouth of Trump and his cohorts as FACT (even when these “facts” are changed the next day … or even within a few hours!).

But it’s understandable (although frustrating) why this is so. Most people have jobs, family, and other activities that prevent them from doing research. And unfortunately, this does and will play a major role in the election of the next president.

    • Hello Nan. What you say is very true. That is why I feel it is my job to post as many informational posts as possible. If others can not find time to research stuff, I should offer a place for them to find information they may need. It is a hope. I know it is egotistical of me, but I have a dream for my blog. Hugs

    • It’s all about putting the shine on. Probelm is you have dingbats who readily believe all the right wing idiocy they can find. Faux News sycophants drooling at the tv… And you are right, they cant be bothered with the truth, let alone having to go find it on their own.

Problem is we have stoopid people who believe this shit. And if we call them stoopid people they just dig in deeper.

Reminds me of self appointed experts in religion, nothing you do or say will sway them from their position. The ignorant can be educated, the willfully ignorant is a festering blight upon society.

      • Hello Shelldigger. You are correct in all of it. Yet we must keep feeding them the information even if they won’t partake it or ingest it. It is there for them and we must keep it in front of them. I just wish I knew how to reach them, because this concerns them as well. Hugs
