Trump fan confronted while buying out ENTIRE stock at Dollar Tree store

You do realize this is not someone who wants these products for their own use, right?   These are people who know others are desperate to get these products so they bought up as much of the supply as they could, and will sell them for a profit.  Much as the people who bought up hand sanitizer did until Facebook shut them down.  I posted about that guy who complained he had a garage full of sanitizer he couldn’t make a profit on after buying out every store in his county and those next to his county.  Greed, making money on peoples suffering.  Is this the capitalism you champion?  is this the way you want the government or the community you live in to run?   Many suffer and will have to give up all the own so a few privileged few who got there first can make a huge profit on the misery of others.   Well that is not the society or country I want.   The thing that may bite her and her kind in the ass is there are no shortages.  None reported.  If people like her were not buying up every bit of the product there would be plenty to go around like normal.  I noticed she had to fill a pickup bed and a second vehicle.  I wonder how these people think of themselves.  I do notice they are tRump supporters which may explain a lot.   Hugs

  1. It’s partially the store’s fault if they didn’t put restrictions on purchase quantity. Even if it took place before the panic buying started, surely someone would/should have questioned this person’s motives.

    • Hello Nan. Yes perhaps. But is it too much to ask that people be decent caring individuals who are not scum? I was out this morning trying to get a few things. The store I went to was an older store ( they normally have the best sales on soda ) with more narrow isles. In one
Isle I got behind an older woman and older man with a older woman coming the other way. They were blocking the aisle. This was the only aisle there was any empty shelves. It was the disinfectant and paper towel / toilet paper isle. There were five large packages of paper towels on the shelf they were stopped at. They kept picking up the packages and turning them around and back and forth. At the same time they were chatting with each other as to if these were a good buy. I couldn’t go back as what I needed was just beyond them. I was about to burst when each of the ladies took a package and they moved on.

I am sorry Nan, I know the store should have had some sort of stop gap measure, but I still think the actions of this woman and her friend were despicable. There is the good of the community vrs the personal profit of oneself, and I don’t think that woman had the good of the community in her heart. Hugs

      • I didn’t mean to sound like I was excusing her!!! I just think the store should have stepped in and never allowed her to do what she did. IMO, it was a double-fault situation.

  2. Scottie – this is similar to the Stock sell-offs, it’s that “privileged” behavior stemming from their attitude – and belief system! – of “Fuck, you, I’ve got mine. Too bad you’re too late.” It’s GREED, they can’t stand to lose a nickel on an exchange, or to not make a tidy profit during a crisis. And there may soon be isolated “pockets” of complete societal breakdown coming, which would take a while to unravel. If those people DO get caught up in riots or something, at least they’ll be practicing proper hygiene…

    • Hello inspiredbythedivine1. Yes it seems so. Which really seems a thing they would like to correct I would think. Hugs
