In the United States, fake websites sell supposed cures for the Coronavirus or hard-to-find medical tools and supplies, like masks, for sky-high prices.

  1. Scottie – I’ve also received emails about “suspicious activity” in my PayPal account and my bank account as well, and they tell me to log in and change my password. These are VERY official-looking, right down to the logos and the page styling. The only way to tell is to NOT login usiing that source, but from your usual method, find a customer rep in a chat room who will then tell you to take a screenshot of the “raw msg” and show it, which is when they can recognize that it’s not theirs.

    I do see far more people doing good deeds than pulling shit like this on us.
