White House organizes harassment of Twitter employee as Trump threatens company

Filed under: Criminal, Fascism, News, Political, Questions, Reason — Scottie @ 06:49

Is this a government of a large country or a group of angry high school kids wanting their own way?   Over 100,000 deaths from a virus now spreading out of control, hospitals again overwhelmed, and the tRump crime cabal is targeting a private companies civilian worker because he angered the Dear Leader.   This is not normal, this is a authoritarian dictatorship action.   We need a president and I hope people remember this in November.  tRump and his fascist crew must be defeated, and starting the work of getting democracy and equality for all.   Hugs

Trump has consistently targeted tech companies that don’t show him unquestioning adulation. Twitter’s decision to label his falsehoods sent him on a tirade against the company. Trump immediately responded to Twitter’s actions with threatening messages, writing on his Twitter account on Tuesday evening that the company is “now interfering in the 2020 Presidential Election,” and reiterating his false statement that mail-in ballots “will lead to massive corruption and fraud.”

Trump on Wednesday then threatened “big action” against the company and said he will regulate or shut down any social media platform. While he doesn’t have the authority to shut down private companies for exercising their constitutional rights, Trump’s escalation of rhetoric, combined with the targeting of individual employees, is a disturbing new advancement in his culture war.

  1. Sweet mercy, enough! Having to read about this makes me grumpy. It’s a no brainer, non issue and fact of life – tweet bullshit, moderators call bullshit – that’s how Twitter works for Joe average so why not Trump?

    • Hello Notes To Ponder. tRump not only is a narcissist, has always had a ultra ego, and thought himself the best. But the extra authority of president has gone to his head making him think he really is above all other beings, he is infallible. He has drank his own kool aid so now anyone that contradicts the Dear Leader must be destroyed. He can not stand any challenge to his ultimate authority and his super genius. He must keep up the illusion of his own superiority and that all others must bow to him, change the rules for him, rules must not apply to him. That is the world of the US now in 2020. Hugs

      • You nailed it in this comment, Scottie!!

BTW, on a different note … in a recent video of Trump standing at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, someone pointed out how he was “swaying” as he stood in front of the wreath. Of course there was various speculation about this, but I tried something at home and I think I know what was going on.

When you’re really sleepy, try closing your eyes and see how “still” you can stand. I would venture to guess that all that late-night/early morning tweeting is taking its toll.

Here’s the link to the video:

        • Hello Nan. Thank you. I have also read that the way he stands leaning forward at the hips is a sign of some type of metal decline in to dementia. I don’t know. But I do know no human body can with stand the abuse and weird thinking tRump puts his through. The constant emotional roller coaster, the bad diet, the refusal to moderate any emotional satisfaction or desire. Nope he has to be very unhealthy.

OT. Ron has been very good for a few days in not bothering me. Today I got up at 3:30 and got stuff posted, but as soon as he got up I knew today would be different. Instead of settling in to his own tasks, he has been wanting my attention from morning on. Right now he has gone off for a nap, and and he has asked me to make him my home made red sauce and spaghetti with baked meatballs for supper, which I have to start soon. That is why I am able to get to the comments. Hugs
