The good cops need to step up and confront the bad ones

  1. That’s what I was talking about with a neighbor tonight. I told them i’m so sick of the “a few bad apples” analogy they keep using for the police force and that “investigations are underway.” The whole damned thing is rotted. Someone needs to uproot the plant and start with a new cutting in it’s place, build it again with better training to keep good fruit coming out.

Time. Distance. Cover. And don’t use a knee in the neck because you’d be a moronic murderer pretty quickly.

    • Hello TheChattyIntrovert. I agree. I often talk about Tamir Rice, a 12 year old black boy who was murdered because he was in a park playing with a clearly toy gun. The two police officers drove right up to him and in less than 2 seconds opened fire on him. Never tried to communicate with him, never tried to stay back to assess the situation, but drove up and before their doors were fully open they shot him to death. They planned that from the start.

When I worked “under the cover of law” I was trained to stop illegal actions by other officers. If I was doing something illegal other officers were to stop me. Granted that was 40 years ago, but damn it should still be the standard.
