Trump To Defy Quarantine For Visitors To New Jersey

Yes he is a civilian.   What he really is claiming is he is above any laws, and he doesn’t have to follow the laws of any state.   He really has drank his own kool aid.   If he is reelected he will move to promote himself with a grand new title over the military I bet like other dictators have.   He is desperate I read to prove to other dictators he has the same power and control that they do.      Hugs

Trump To Defy Quarantine For Visitors To New Jersey

CNBC reports:

The White House said Wednesday that President Donald Trump will not change his plan to travel to New Jersey this weekend despite a new order by the governor requiring visitors who have been in states with high numbers of coronavirus cases to quarantine for 14 days.

“The president of the United States is not a civilian,” said White House spokesman Judd Deere, when asked about Trump’s compliance with the quarantine order given his travel Tuesday to Arizona, which has seen a rise in the rate of its Covid-19 cases.

The president is expected to travel this weekend to his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. In past visits to the club, he has flown on Air Force One to airports in Newark and Morristown.

Remember this is a personal trip to play golf and get tax payer money infused into his golf club.   After he loses in November Biden better plan on complete audits and investigations.   Hugs

  1. Trump and his cronies will say and/or do whatever it takes to allow him to do whatever he wants! He continues to demonstrate that he has absolutely NO respect or concern for the law or the people of this country.

    1. Hello Nan. In his youth he got away with anything he wanted too, he flaunted the rules. In his young adulthood he again got away with things because his dad bailed him out, he was above the rules others had to follow. In his middle ages he was the boss that wouldn’t allow any worker to disagree with him or tell him he was wrong, he openly cheated at golf, never paid at places he went, spent other peoples money on his lifestyle, he was above the rules others followed. Now he has all the US levers of power at his command and his greatest admiration goes toward complete authoritarian dictators. He has always gotten away with creating his own reality, and now in his reality he is above all laws, the ultimate authority, untouchable, unstoppable, and able to do what he wants, when he wants, how he wants. In his mind the peons better get use to it. And his followers love that idea, even the former party known as Republican, those people love the idea, because they want that for themselves also. Hugs

      1. Oh, heavens… I think you just described the first best documented case of a 20th century “Affluenza” sufferer!
Oh boy… either my heartburn’s kicking in after that last sip of coffee or this realization just made me throw up a little.

        1. Hello TheChattyIntrovert. Wait until you read the article I posted about how Bill Barr and his kind are trying hard to push the US into an authoritarian theocracy. That is what all these ideologue judges are about. They see their religious convictions as out weighting the laws and the constitution. Hugs

    2. A big part of me wonders what would happen if Dump suddenly wore a mask. Just out of the blue. Wore a mask and said it was responsible and for safety. How many of his supporters would suddenly just jump to and wear one themselves?

Of course, that’s a fantasy, that he’d do anything responsible without bitching about it and finding 5000 ways to totally undermine the point, but one can only imagine…

  2. Is that what they call a “tell?” “The prezinit is not a civilian.” Did he just let the cat out? Sheeez. We were just discussing this over at TG’s place; how voting throughout the South is being manhandled and mishandled, because it’s so damn crucial to his reelection, and how they’re deploying the entire panoply of Dirty Tricks. They can’t win on merit, or judgement of their causes or policies, so they cheat and lie and restrict the votes and voting. On Tuesday, in KY’s capitol, there was only ONE machine for over 600,000 voters, many of whom were actually physically blocked from voting, although one other machine WAS available – until the Police closed the street leading to the polling place, and kept it that way, *using armed and armored police.”

    1. Hello Dennis. Yes it is clear that the Republicans are aware they are going to lose badly and they wont accept that. Republicans crave power, they really believe that they have a right to rule. If it becomes a choice between democracy and power, Republicans will choose power. It is their way to wealth. They are a clear minority now overall in the population, somewhere between 25 and 30 %, yet the do everything they can to win no matter what giving them the right to rule over the majority. It is not a government by the people for the people, but a government by the wealthy for a minority to become powerful and wealthy. I just posted an article spelling out how Barr and those like him are pushing for a authoritarian theocracy. Hugs
