In my hometown there have been maybe 7 or 8 known cases. I shamefully admit I haven’t been wearing my mask there.

Today I’m in a large town 50 miles from home. I’m wearing my mask. 😷

Hello ShellDigger. I do not know where you live but here in Florida the cases are sky rocketing and the hospitals are again filling up. It is getting as bad as it was in the start. In many places it is worse, and this is just the start of the results of the grand reopening of the state. The Governor still wont call for people to wear masks and use social distancing. More people will die, hospitals will be over whelmed. I am glad Ron will not be in the ICU facing it anymore. Hugs

  2. The biggest problem I have seen is people covering their mouths, but not their noses. I’ve got a couple of co-workers who have breathing issues apparently and barely wear them, even though they’re supposed to. I offered to give them one of the thinner disposable ones, but they wouldn’t take ’em. Customers who come in are varied on this, maybe 1 in 10 won’t cover the nose.

Yes, it’s annoying to breathe through a filter sometimes. I had to wear one almost 12 straight hours while working a double shift, but I still didn’t take it off unless I was in the bathroom alone or the 10 minutes i took to inhale my salad and get back to work. It’s warm air you’re breathing in, but it’s your air and not getting anyone else sick, or letting you breathe anybody else’s sick air. Sheesh.

Hello TheChattyIntrovert. I don’t know what to tell you. If they think the thin masks are hard to breathe through they should try a respirator mask which they will need if they end up in the hospital. They need to ask themselves if being out and shopping is needed, worth the risk to themselves and others, and just what they are doing? Did you see my picture post about wearing the mask not covering your nose is like? Hugs

      2. I’m sure if this particular person laid off the cigarettes, they’d probably have an easier time. What I’m worrying about is others who are complaining because after all the rain we’ve had lately, that pollen’s flying around and allergies are making their comeback. So you know the complaints are going to really start flying soon. Ugh.

Hello TheChattyIntrovert. Anyone with allergies to pollen’s should value wearing a mask. Both Ron and I are allergic to different grasses and plants and he always wears a mask when cutting the grass. Hugs
