  1. Sheesh–they were building a patio in the back. Were they too loud or something? Why did she feel she needed to know if they had a permit? Was it an excuse to make them stop building or something? If they were loud, she could’ve mentioned that.

    These folks must be damned bored if they’re gonna resort to sic-ing the cops on other people. What the hell business was it of hers? If they did it wrong, and the inspectors found out, they’d be told. it’s not her freaking business. Ugh, I just don’t get it!

    • Hello The Chatty Introvert. You get it. They were doing nothing wrong or illegal and if they had been white she wouldn’t have dared do what she did.

      But they were black, which in her mind gave her the right to over see what they were doing, to have a say in it. She felt that the black neighbor’s had to get her approval because they could be doing all sorts of nonwhite stuff.

      Bigotry at the deepest level. It has to stop and to do so it needs a mind change in the white people. That includes the old fucks in congress. Hugs
