Hello Nan. I made Ron a welcome home breakfast of breaded seasoned pork chops, wedge cut baked seasoned potatoes and he asked for 2 fried over medium eggs. Now I am going to go make chocolate cookies. Those are not so much for him but I don’t care for the oatmeal raisin ones I made for him and I want some cookies. Hugs

Hello Nan. Break while the first batch are cooking, gods I love that stand mixer I bought for Ron it is really great. I need later today to go to Amazon and buy Ron some new canisters and cooking stuff.

I often over the last three years have said that the Republican party that was, is gone. The idea of the Republican party is now the party of tRump. This is beyond the idea that the president is the highest official of his party. My point is the Republican base has reached a tipping point and then tipped over it happily. The Republican party is now the party of tRump. No way to parse it. He controls who in the party gets elected or who goes down. I think the Republican party is forever tainted by all their bigotry and hateful members. I think the former Republicans need to create a new party. It has happened in the past when parties have become very unpopular that they couldn’t win. What do you think? Hugs

Sorry for the late reply …

What do I think? I think it’s going to take a VERY long time to get over this nincompoop!!!

But seriously … I think once he’s gone, things will change — at least in the way the country is run. This doesn’t mean the Repukes will stop doing and being who and what they are … and maybe even more so because Trump has emboldened them during his “reign”… but I do think after he’s gone, the party will level out. Yes, there will always be the bigoted and hateful members, but they won’t have him there to put all their crap into practice. Also, all those “rich supporters and friends” that he put into “acting” positions will be forced to put up or shut up.

As you’ve mentioned several times, what’s going to be the most hurtful is the number of judges that he’s been able to appoint.

Probably the major problem will be the bigots and dissenters that Trump has emboldened. They were bad enough during Obama’s reign and unfortunately, I tend to think they’re going to cause even more problems in the future.
