TX Man Smashes Grocer’s Windows In Mask Dispute

The Austin Statesman reports:

Austin police have arrested a man who a North Austin grocery store says broke all of the business’ windows after an employee asked him to wear a mask.

Police on Thursday told the American-Statesman that they had arrested 31-year-old Wayne Ayres in connection to the vandalism at Fresh Plus Grocer in Hyde Park.

The store manager said the man broke all of the front windows — about eight in total — by throwing glass bottles at them. The manager said the damage, just from the windows, is estimated to cost around $20,000.

First, they offered the man a free mask.

This is part the effect of disinformation and lies of state media and some out of control ego rage.  Where do people get the idea that if they don’t get their own way they can have a temper tantrum and smash other people’s stuff.   This is like these people are still going through the terrible twos.  Hugs

Scottie, when people take the president at his word, they are running a fool’s errand.

These conspiracy theorists are also not worth listening to. If you heed them, you may wind up in jail. The pizzagate guy who heeded QAnon, is now serving his third year of a four year sentence. Alex Jones was found guilty of fraud and then lost his appeal regarding his Sandy Hook conspiracy theory – he is also out of pocket at least $550,000, maybe more.

Headline to conspiracy aficionados – you can believe whatever you want to believe, but if you act on conspiracy theories or break the law, you may wind up in jail.

Hello Keith. Boy are you going to enjoy a post I am working on for later. The president is pushing the FDA to approve and permit an extract from the oleander plant to be marketed as a dietary supplement or, alternatively, approved as a drug to cure COVID-19, despite lack of proof that it works. In fact it is a poison and he wants it certified as a cure for Covid 19. All because a wealthy donor founded the business selling it. The extract harms the heart. Hugs

Once again … $$$$$ take precedence over all else. Even people’s lives.

Hello Nan. Yes very true. Some people have taken to heart the message of greed pushed in the 1980’s / 1990’s. All that matters is who has the most toys and the biggest bank account. It is a sick way to view humanity, but when you look at how hard a struggle it is for most of the population just to live and have some quality of life you can understand those who want to make sure they don’t face that, a little bit. But they don’t realize that their greed is causing that hardship, or they don’t care that it is. Hugs
