  1. trevor noah is a gem. A true, freaking gem. He’s calm and deliberate, makes you think… and can bring on the funny at times. But wow. Thanks for posting this. Quite enlightening. Sadly, it won’t reach the people who oughta read and contemplate it the most.

Hello Chatty Introvert. Have you seen his earlier comedy specials before he took over the Daily Show? He is seriously funny. I also like Russell Howard. Hugs

I first started watching him from his comedy specials. He grew up in the apartheid South Africa and the Daily show episode where he took a film crew back to interview his grandmother is priceless and grand. He couldn’t play out side much because just his being alive was a crime, a mixed race kid. Hugs

  2. So many things I could say but they would mostly fall on deaf ears — or the selective deaf ones. We all know a gun is just an object that would never on its own kill anyone. It’s the person holding the gun who should be outlawed. and eliminated. Not condoning murder, just build high fences and put them inside. Put the fences in an unpopulated area surrounded by open space, give them their guns and their right to carry them and let them blast away at each other. If they get it all out of their systems that way maybe some day someone can cut down the fences, but for heavens sake don’t blame the gun or the color of everyone’s skin. There are a lot of names for people like that but human isn’t one of them. Just isolate them together and some day maybe the better ones will come out of there with a bit of common sense. Hmm, now doesn’t the guy in Washington like to build fences? build it around him while he’s not looking.

Hello Angela. I think the US has a problem. Our people are too ready to use violence over minor disagreements or when talking things out could have a better result. I want know what pushes some one to devalue another life to a point where taking that life is OK or desirable. What societal or mental health programs can be put in place to tamper down that impulse enough? I do think there are too many guns freely available in our country. But as you say if people did not think a gun gave them a status they did not need, they wouldn’t feel the need to take a gun to grocery shop or to McDonald’s. Hugs

      1. Will try to talk more later Scottie. My vision is almost gone completely right now and just want to send out the comments before I have to shut down for the duration. Hugs
