Junior On Kenosha Killer: We All Do Stupid Things At 17

Forbes reports:

When asked in an interview with the TV show Extra about the deadly shootings in Kenosha in which 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse has been accused of killing two protesters and wounding a third, Donald Trump Jr. said, “we’re waiting for due process,” and he lamented the tragedy of a “young kid” putting himself in a volatile situation while armed with a deadly weapon, saying, “We all do stupid things at 17.”

When host Rachel Lindsay responded “It’s a little beyond stupid,” Trump replied, “Really stupid — fine. But we all have to let due process play out and let due process take its course.” Rittenhouse, who is charged with two counts of homicide and a count of attempted homicide, has gathered significant support from the right; he has received $478,041 in donations on the Christian crowdfunding site GiveSendGo.com.

Scottie, doing a stupid thing is driving while a little intoxicated. Carrying a weapon into a tense situation is more than stupid. I guess Dylan Roof was just being a rowdy boy when he shot nine parishioners who invited him in. Ol’ Dad was just having fun when he grabbed women by their private parts. Keith

Hello Keith. I get your point. I really do. What gets me is what those people ( the wealthy and tRump clan ) give allowance to, what they think should be given more acceptance to while remembering that tRump pardoned Joe Arpaio a self confirmed admitted racist who used his elected legal authority to harm and hurt people of color.

Yes his cult supporters endorse that because of what they are. But Keith what about every Republican member of congress who has supported tRump and shields him from any accountability? What does that say about them? Do we have a duty to remove them from our governing body?

The fact is the ones still claiming to be Republican support this, this bigotry and racism. The party needs to die. Republicans are still supporting everything tRump is! Hugs

Scottie, other than one Congress person, I have not seen GOP legislators speak up in defense of Trump’s military denigration. It will be interesting to see what they say about the interview with Bob Woodward. My guess is more crickets. But, Trump admitted to misleading Americans on COVID-19 and now 190,000 + Americans are dead. There should be a class action lawsuit on dereliction of duty. Keith
