She nails it! And as you know, I can speak with authority related to the Oregon fires.

We’re still in the “hazardous” air quality mode. Smoke is everywhere. And there is NO air movement so it’s going nowhere. A most unpleasant experience …

Hello Nan. I am sorry. I wish I could give you the weather I have. We have had rain for days as tropical depressions have approached and crossed around Florida. Today we have had more rain, but the wind might have been an issue for the fires there, but they would have cleared the air. But if you had the rain we have had it would have helped a lot. Our temperatures are way down for us this time of year due to the rain. The problem is some of the incoming storms could turn into hurricanes, and the one crossing our area right now is expected to gain strength in the gulf on its way to Louisiana and may be a hurricane when it gets there. Ron and I are worried about you and all our internet friends in the areas of these fires. Please keep us updated and stay safe.

OT. All the rain has made our lawn grass grow really fast. It is twice as high as normal. Ron was to mow it the day he had to go up north and so it has not been mowed in far too long. The mower we have is a really light 16 inch battery operated one and I really think I should try to mow at least the front if it dries out at any point. I do not even have any shoes for it, I have only one pair of sneakers because I don’t do that stuff. Ron as you can imagine is totally against the idea. Really against it. He is insisting I call James. James had already said he would do it if we needed him too. Thing is … I have never had a chance to play with the new mower since we got it a year ago. Years ago I did all the yard work, and was quite proud ( yes I know sinful me … hehehehe ) of the flowers and lawns. I thought I could do like the front one day and then … But Ron doesn’t need the stress of me doing something like that right now with all going on up there. So I put my want to prove my self aside and promised I wouldn’t mow the lawns. But I have my computers, right? Oh well. Best wishes. Hugs
