My wife and her sister had a discussion on this subject a few weeks back. She swore that if she had school-age children, she would send them to school during this health crisis. My sister-in-law is an idiot, a liar, and a Trump suck. I know it is true because my wife said so and her sister didn’t argue about that.

Hello Cagjr. The demand to have in class schooling is simply to free the parents up to go back to work. If it is not safe for adults to mingle in indoor settings such as bars, restaurants, and theaters, it is not safe for kids to be crowded into a room either. Anyone who says kids need to be in person to learn has never seen most kids spending entire days learning and playing new video games. It is normal for kids today to be staring intently at video screens. I do think some kids do better or need in person learning as they struggle, but that is the minority. I think the way we look at teaching, the way we teach reasoning and information to kids needs to be examined closely. Hugs
