Creationist: God Gave Us All A Nasal Bone Because He Knew, Because Of Sin, We Would Need To Wear Glasses

“We also can look at the nasal bone right here. God designed humans very specifically, with this nasal bone, because He knew, because of sin, we’d be wearing glasses and contacts, right? So this helps hold our glasses. Primates have no need to wear glasses, so they were not created with that bone there.” – Creationist “Dr.” Jennifer Rivera, speaking on the podcast for Ken Ham’s Answers In Genesis.

Hemant Mehta reacts at The Friendly Atheist:

Got that everyone? God knew you were a dirty rotten sinner, which meant your eyes wouldn’t be perfect, which meant you would need glasses, which is why he created a nasal bone, which apparently had no use for hundreds of thousands of years. It’s not clear why God gave you a nasal bone if you wear contacts.

Hello inspiredbythedivine1. What stuns me is these people are used to teach young people. They are pushing this nonsense on to kids who can not see how silly it is, but the adults should. How can you have a college degree and promote this kind of thing. Hugs

It is clear why they are in the religion business. They would have little chance in the real world.
Why didn’t she point out that our ears serve as brackets for hanging those same eyeglasses, or maybe for stoping our hats from falling down and knocking our glasses off?

How come males in many species have nipples? How come nature has produced so many species having both sex organs?
How come the echidna has a four-headed penis? Yes! Count ’em. Four, and they use two at a time, alternating pairs on different occasions.

“Superstition nearly always absorbs the attention, the admiration, and the treasures of the people; they have a very expensive religion; but they have for their money, neither light, virtue, nor happiness.”

    Jean Meslier

Christianity is directly opposed to, and intent on removing intelligence from society. Anything they don’t understand is proof of god. Anything they don’t approve of is a sin against their god. A god, by the way, if he were worth a crap would have created man unable to sin.

These people want to outlaw public education and put the church in charge of all teaching in order to prepare the world for the next advent of the messiah, Trump being the most recent.

Hello Cagjr. Well said, very well said. I especially like this part: Christianity is directly opposed to, and intent on removing intelligence from society. Anything they don’t understand is proof of god. Anything they don’t approve of is a sin against their god. So very true, very true. Hugs

They don’t know about the four-headed penis creature because it’s not in the BIBLE!!

(But if they did, I wonder how they would explain what god had in mind … !! 😳😂)

It was good fortune that I had just read the article in the Smithsonian. I read the post on The Friendly Atheist earlier. How unfortunate for the world that religion ever was allowed to become a thing.

I don’t know how they would explain it since God is their explanation for nature. But they would try.

If she could read the article, written by a female btw, her brain would probably run out her ears. I wish someone could put it in her hand.
